Hank Bauer Memorial Fund
The Hank Bauer Memorial Fund was established to keep Harold J. Bauer’s spirit alive while raising money for prostate cancer research and the Cary community.
Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago is grateful to the Bauer family, friends and vendors who supported our mission through the Hank Bauer Memorial Golf Outing from 2013 to 2017. Successful golf events were held at the Cary Country Club, with a 9-hole scramble, prizes for closest-to-the-pin and longest drive, after-golf banquet, live music and silent auction.
Many thanks to the Bauers!
PCL BlueZone: Goro Family Fundraiser
The Goro family continues its successful fundraising through its organization called PCL BlueZone, which has worked with Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago in the fight against prostate cancer. Every year the Goro Family honors Chuck Goro with a special event to celebrate Mr. Goro’s life. Past fundraisers have included, among others, a golf event, a flag football game event and a fierce end-of-season softball tournament!
Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago and ChicagoProstateCancerCenter appreciates the Goro family and friends for all of their dedication and efforts to conquer prostate cancer. The support of donors like PCL BlueZone, continues to advance the education, patient support and clinical research programs of Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago.
