Dear Race Participant,
Thank you for your registration for our 5th Annual Run & Walk for Prostate Cancer Awareness and for supporting the research and education efforts of Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago. If you have participated at this race in the past, you know this is a fun event filled with face painters, prize giveaways, raffles and auctions. As the date approaches we will give you a glimpse of some of the items we will be raffling and auctioning. Keep a lookout for future emails!
This year we are excited to have Seasons 52 as our pledge sponsor. Seasons 52 had donated a $300 gift card to one of their restaurants for us to raffle off for those that participate in raising pledges! This is how it works: For every $25 in pledges, you will be given one raffle ticket for a chance to win the $300 gift card from Seasons 52! So if you raise $300, you will receive 12 raffle tickets; if you raise $1,000 you receive 40 raffle tickets and so on. You do not need to be present to win when we draw the winner.
If you are interested in helping us raise money and for your chance to win this prize, attached to this email is a pledge sheet.
Please return completed pledge sheet when you register and make checks payable to: Prostate Cancer Foundation of Chicago. Or you can have your friends and family that are pledging on behalf of you pledge for you directly on our website. They should type in your name in the box that says “on behalf of”.
